Stained Glass and Honey Bee's
One of my favorite things about hiking in the mountains are the alpine flowers. They are so delicate and live and grow in some of the harshest conditions. Often we are babying along our garden flowers and they are barily able to survive and flower but in the mountians in the wind and cold the alpine flowers are flourishing. And so I have named my 'hobbies' "Alpine Flower Creations" I have been making Stained glass and selling it thru the Food Basket in Atlin and at local craft fairs as well as at the Atlin Courthouse Gallery during the summer months. A lot of my pieces are based on flowers, birds and bugs, however I often branch out and make pieces that are completely different. Last summer my family and I took on a new project ~ Honey Bees~ Atlin being a gold mining community I felt it only fitting to call my honey "Atlin's liquid gold" Please see the page attached to this web site for an update on honey supply!
